Currrent Relationships/Reflecting on Building Relationships

 Why are relationships important?
In this world we live in we experience all type of relationships in  our lives. Many of thosse relationships have to do with our family, friends, and otehr  important individuals.

I feel that we all have to build relationships and the ability to do that starts from birth. As children we learn how to love, show love, and determine how love is to feel. My family  are the most imporatnt individuals in my live and that family consist of My three children Amyra 19, Ashanti 14, and SynCere 10. My paretns, gradnparetns and siblings.

My relationship with my mother caused me to be an independant individual and never give up on life.

My relationship with my Biological father was strained and not that close as a child, However as I became an adult we have built a bond despite the  things that took place when I was a child.

My relationship with my children: WOW!!!! it has taught me how to be a mother, friend, doctor, referee, couselor, and most of all a MOTHER. These three people are all different in their own ways. I have to treat all of them with respect and same but differently.

  1. How do you maintain your relationships? Do you consider any of these relationships to also be partnerships?

  2. Hi Laketha,
I indeed enjoyed reading your post. It is very good to know that you have a very god relationship with your family because family plays a very important role in our lives. I too can attest to what you share with your family because I too uphold a good relationship with mine and I never regret a day being around them because they are source of strength. Continue to be close with your family and again I love your post.

  4. Hi Laketha,
I agree with you on the importance of loving relationships. I think that relationships are made up of personal experience, reflection, commitment and the amount of you that you are willing to contribute. If we are fortunate enough to have had loving relationships since birth then we have a fairly good understanding of what a loving relationship consists of. Many individuals are not that fortunate and so they learn about life and relationships through life experiences and the people whom we encounter throughout our life.

  6. Motherhood will definitely cause you to dabble in professions that you had never considered before. I also have three kids and my house is in constant disarray and I have to break up the pettiest disagreements. Despite the trouble they give me I love them with all of my heart.
